Fokke Simons takes its name from the street where it all started, and where their first music was created. The group consists of 3 guys with unique roles. They began with their single ‘Fancy’, followed by hits such as ‘Oh My’ and ‘Adder’. In 2022, they released their first album ‘Het Kan Niet Op’, and in 2024, they dropped multiple tracks like ‘Elke Keer’ and ‘Dopamine’. Fokke Simons is full of energy, humor, and self-mockery and will showcase this on stage at the Faculty of Civil Engineering and Geosciences on May 2nd.
The Amsterdam-based Freddi is not unfamiliar with the underground dance scene and has recently been making moves towards hard-house, trance, and progressive. A dynamic fusion of groovy rhythms, hypnotic basslines, and an electrifying energy that fills the room.
Nicky Gallenkamp, aka Azzurro, is from Amsterdam and started DJing in 2023 and producing in 2024 after a friend’s introduction. Initially uninterested, his passion grew through festivals and practice, earning him an ADE 2024 booking. His energetic, euphoric style blends hard tracks with piano melodies, evolving from house to trance. Producing taught him the difficulty of crafting a ‘WOW’ effect with balanced instruments and unique elements. Friends fuel his drive, and he thrives on playing unknown tracks for their dopamine rush, creating connection in his sets. DJing is his outlet, with goals to perform at Thuishaven and expand his network.
JDMA is a rising local artist fuelled by a youthful spirit and a knack for captivating track selection. Seamlessly blending energy and groove, he orchestrates sets that command the dance floor with precision. As was shown during his spectacular set during Vol.1. Through a fusion of diverse genres, he crafts an experience that transports the audience into a trance-like state, making sure to never lose his energy and forging an intimate connection with the music.

V-NO, alias to Julian Wijnen, is a Dutch artist based in Delft (NL) who taught himself the art of djing and producing during the covid lockdowns. His style merges the power and energy of hard house with the bounciness and euphoria of trance. Over 5 years of djing got him into some renowned venues like Toffler and Club Now & Wow as well as earning him residencies at a local club and a festival series. With his first single debuted and more music on the way V-NO is set to make his mark in the up-tempo dance music scene.
Under Construction has made significant strides since its creation 6 years ago, both musically and organizationally. Following a complete changeover from the founding members to new Civil Engineerging students, the band has taken a new lively identity. As roommates, DJ Arya & Lippo quickly discovered their shared love for music.
